We have experience representing both plaintiffs and defendants in the small claims process. Small claims is set up for people to be able to represent themselves.
- Corporations and LLC’s must have an attorney represent them for cases involving more than $1,500.
- The limit for suing in small claims court is now $10,000. For claims or cases involving amounts over $10,000, the only option is regular civil court, also referred to as the plenary docket
