David A. Kruse retired in 2020 after practicing law in Auburn, Indiana for over 50 years. He was the founding member of what is now Kruse & Kruse P.C. starting his law practice in 1968 after graduating from the Indiana School of Law. David Kruse served as the attorney for the Town of Waterloo from 1968 to 1996 and again from 2011 to 2020. He represented the DeKalb County Plan Commission and Board of Zoning Appeals from 1971 to 2020. David enjoyed working with and representing his clients in a wide variety of cases. His clients enjoyed his “Frog Room” and “fully relying upon God” teaching. David's son Andrew D. Kruse joined him in the law practice in 1998 and will continue to guide the firm into the future.

David Kruse was a founding board member of the Volunteer Lawyers Program for Northeast Indiana. This program has been a premier program in Indiana providing legal services to those in need.
